Its the great wall of syderstone

Here we have the start of the footings for the double sided flint wall, all 15metres of it.
This may look like any old wall loaded out but the lorry dropped the bricks, blocks and a tonne of cement off on the road a mere 50 metres away. So everything was wheeled in a barrow along a shingle pathway. Not the easiest of jobs by any means!
The pillar butts up against the conservatory (we never built this!) so we put a piece of DPM against the wall to stop any damp ingress. Similar construction to the Post office wall apart from being double sided flint.
We have the wall, a shed base and fencing to do here. The opportunity to do a patio if the price is right! It will be!!!
